UTAH (and Surrounding Areas) BS Thread

Ill be in Utah in less than a week. Got my complete OME lift kit and picking up my new rims and tires tomorrow. Just have to install the lift when I arrive in Utah. Id do it now, but dont have the tools needed to do the install myself at the in-laws house. Looking forward to installing the lift and tires and to be in Utah.

Will do, got to figure out the last odd pieces I may need. Like bushings and what nots. You have any pointers? I have the kit, top plates, 5mm trim packers, rear darkers, u-bolts, plan on using my old top plates?. I know I need leaf bushings unless i use the ones out of my springs now, I hear its easier to just buy new ones? Anything else I may be missing. Oh yeah, got LR UCAs as well......any and all input very grateful

 

Are your coils already assembled? Like the spring already around the shock?

 

I don't know about the dakars bushing, I just did an AAl. If your springs aren't already on, no big deal I can get what we need. On a side note, with it being as cold as it is here right now, I say you use the hobby shop unless you get a garage we can close up.

 

Bring some space heaters too

So tired of this weather! The inversion is so crappy as well

 

Just the beginning of the inversion, about another week, then temps start to rise and hopefully blue sky is back. We're going to have some flooding again if temps climb too fast

 

I was telling my new neighbor about that. He asked if flooding was bad, and I told him to buy a sump pump now before they all get sold out again.

 

hopefully i get to go and powder coat my sliders so i can slap them on my truck today if i dont work

I was just up in Big Cottonwood Canyon doing a little snowshoeing.

Blue sky and warm. Very nice.

 

That sound so relaxing! If only I had the time...

I know two guys that do retros. One in Ogden one in Sandy. Sandy guy has more experience overall and a better schedule to work with but Ogden guy has done Taco retros
