Anyone have a UWS toolbox thats not a Low Profile

    First off, the pics are switched. The first link is a low-pro pic. Also, the number shows the box is supposed to be angled, where the pic isn't. The second link is a standard box, not low-pro.

    The difference is how high the profile of the box is above the bed rail. If you measure from the top of the bed rail to the top of the tool box lid the low pro is shorter. If gives the box a lower slimer profile when viewed from the side. Mine is the low pro version.

    what I should have said is does anyone have a black toolbox that fits 6 foot beds between the wheel well that sits on the bottom of the bed (not angled) and if so what is the difference in total area between it and an angled toolbox

    Just search for a 42" toolbox on the Shopping tab of search engines, There are a few black chest style boxes available like the DeeZee 8537b and there's a 42" UWS chest. If you're looking for a toolbox with a lid that rests ON the fender wells but under the bed rails, there are a few out there. Those are harder to find and a little more pricey.
    The website RuralKing has a ton of toolboxes to look at, and you can search just about any term you want "black low profile crossbed toolbox". You may have to copy the model and search elsewhere for the measurements though. They're missing on some ads.
    When you do find one you like, search for it on multiple web pages because the prices on the same box vary greatly.
