    Gian,

Finally figured out how to get the frame end bolts on. Took some manual dexterity to get them started and then used a u-joint through the hilift mount opening. I got the driver side done but having troubles getting the passenger side started. Probably going to have to loosen everything and try shifting the bumper.

Where are some good places to wheel near Albuquerque? I'm tired of this sandy fenced mesa near my house.
    :annoyed:

There's all kinds of stuff west of Rio Rancho. Also, northwest of RR. I like to go northwest from Northern Blvd (Rio Rancho) on Encino (pipeline road) until it drops off of the escarpment; all kinds of trails out there.

Or, go out to the Cedro Peak area off of South 14 (go east on I-40 & get off at Tijeras & go south).

I assume you want more than just putting a wheel up on a curb in a mall parking lot. :D

Go wheel in the Puerco. Head to southern and under and head west till it ends. Plenty of trails out there to play around on.

Cheapest way is spacer lift up front. Not the best way. Ask me how I know. Gonna upgrade my spacer lift with a solid axle :D cause that's what the cool kids are doing now-a-days

Haha alright I mean will that be good enough for mostly just driving and roading every now and then? and when you say up front you only get the front lifted? what about the back?

    :woot: nice!

    how un-american of you ;)

like chad said the cheapest is a spacer lift but i hated mine. but i would get bilstein 5100s for the front. they have 3 settings on the shock from 0" to 2.5".

and for the back, the cheapest is to put a block underneath the leafs but i would highly reccommend not doing that on the stock 1st gen leaf springs. they are pretty weak and putting a block under them will make them bend a lot and maybe break in some circumstances.

i would reccommend either getting an add-a-leaf or rebuilding your leaf pack as in this thread http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/suspension/194386-tacoma-spring-refurbishing.html. that is what i have for my rear leaf set up
