    Thanks!

Here are some new pictures, just recently received my retrofitted headlights from forum member Ambiguous (Burt)
    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2n...fs-fx-r-mini-retrofits-bhlm-no-down-time.html

They look and perform AWESOME. Very happy! Well worth the wait. I'll be posting a review in the product section as soon as I get my lights adjusted better and get some more detailed pics!

FXR Projectors, Osram SVS HID bulbs, Morimoto 35w ballasts, Apollo shrouds with LED HALO's, Flat black bowls, Satin shroud and bezel

Here's the pics. Will try to get some better shots soon.

Hands down, the 886 mod. I got my LED's from a fellow forum member and really they sucked especially on the reverse camera and looking through the tint IMO. they DO get hot but no issues so far

Must have! Those look incredible! As suspected the turn signal and Parking/DTRL are not very bright though? I think if I have mine done I am going to have him leave those two unpainted but I am not sure.

Thanks Burt and np on the quick turn around...I know your wait list is growing.

Loaded - yeah since the reflectors are painted on the DTRL/signal and marker lights they appear a little dimmer. Nothing that I'm concerned with still very visible during all lighting conditions. Worth the difference IMO.If anything the HALOs make up for it by drawing attention to my lights. Super bright. I'll try to get some pictures of them for you. The glaring sun didn't make for a very good photo OP.

Good info bud. I heard the 886 get hot....just hopin they don't mess with my clear taillights (of course I'm only in reverse for milliseconds). With my dark ass tint I really need more light.

Thanks man...your truck is lookin amazing.

Thank you! Yeah those are definitely still bright. I have heard from ambiguous yet but I already PM'd him. I don't know anything about Bulbs or ballasts. How did you decide what you wanted?

EDIT: What did you wire your halos up to?

I went with the Osram SVS bulbs after spending some time on hidplanet.com and researching the different bulbs on the market. The SVS are the brightest bulb on the market right now (downside is, also most expensive), some don't like them because they are only 4200k which means they are more towards the yellow/white side than those obnoxious blue bulbs that are 5000k+

BTW, All OEM HID systems run in the 4200/4300k range.

I would just stick with the 35W standard Morimoto ballasts. For longevity purposes and daily use you'll be happy with the 35w and a quality bulb,

Currently my HALO's are wired into my Fog lights. Will probably switch them out to the DTRL after doing some reading the blinking shouldn't change the life of the HALO's.

Appreciate the compliments Windriver -- She's still a work in progress. Always something else I have to have :eek:

Thanks for the advice. That helps a lot. Brightness is my number 1 priority but I would like them to be as close to the color of my Rigid Industrie duallies. That are pretty much just white. Is there a bulb better suited?

I think I am going to wire my halos to the outside Blinkers if I can. Here is why: When I turn the car on with no lights on my DTRL are on. That means Halos are on all the time. Now if I hooked it up to the outside blinker they would be off until I turned it to parking lights. That way I have a little extra possibilities. What do you think?
