I remember when I had just got my Tires mounted, turning into my neighborhood, ran over the broken blade of a Plow! 3"x3" triangle. Brand new ~$400 tire done. Boy that hurt my pocket.

Good time, however had two issues:

    • Very hard time to get into 4L. Stopped, put in neutral, forward, reverse, slight movement, no movement. The darn thing would just keep flashing and beeping, then at some point, would drop in.

    • Downhill assist - came to a spot where we ended up on a very high ridge, extremely narrow, maybe 6" on each side before a 200 to 300 foot drop. No way to back up, so onward we went. The trail then went down very step drop for about 600 to 800 ft. Did not go into the mode, however was lucky enough to have it in low, so just went very slow. The whole trail was loose rock, so slow was the order of the day for that location.

Was very happy with stock ride, lowered pressure to 20 psi. smooth as silk and only had one spot that needed help. Hit an area called the Pumpkin patch, so called because when wet, the mud is very very sticky and slick. Got on a slight side hill and started the slide down into a gully. No traction, and any time I moved, kept slipping sideways. Used tow strap and another vehicle to provide anchor point and made it out

    Great fun the whole time

I don't really care for the downhill assist control. It lets you go 3-5mph which I feel is too fast for anything I had every felt like I would want it for so I don't ever use it.

For engaging 4Lo you are already in 4Hi right? You have to be moving to engage 4Hi, then you stop shift into neutral and switch to 4Lo. I've never had 4Lo struggle to engage. Always engages almost instantly.

Washed, cleaned the interior, and vacuumed the hell out of it. First time I've vacuumed in the +/- 1.5 years that I've had it.

Changed the spark plugs for $34 instead of the $200 that the dealer wanted! Easy 45 minute job. My plugs were the OEM at 45K miles and the gap had widened to .52 in stead of the .41 that is recommended. Hopefully I'll see a performance improvement and maybe some milage too.:)
