    check the second post in that thread :D I actually got to see Craig's flares in person about a month ago. they look REALLY good. I've been thinking long and hard about reworking my flares ever since craig started that thread. He's working on a set for another member on here who's local to him.

    per his recomendation, i'm going to see how the set he's working on comes out. Craig is no doubt far better at this kind of stuff than I am, so i'll take his word on it if he comes back and says it was a miserable job and not to try it.

    edit: Mr. Homer's got a quicker response time than I.......

    they are the 285/70/17 treadwrights. that size is just the carcase size though. due to the scraping and remolding process, they actually measure closer to a 34'' than a 33'' when new.

    edit: that is also why they are slightly heavier than comparable 33s.

    yeah, i was impressed that i like it without them. i think it's becasue of the cut bedsides. without the cut bedsides, i think there is just too much bare sheet metal

    nah, not yet. look for them within the next year or so though. they'll happen very close in time to the regear/lockers, and long travel. just waiting to start a real job in a few months so i can afford them without having to live on Ramen noodles.

    can't feel my fingers. just hand sanded 34 countersunk stainless steel washers. they are part of how i'm filling the holes. they are now out in the garage getting a couple coats of gunmettal grey paint.
