i would not do hole truck. if i was i would just spend the money and have a hole wrap done. it would hold up better. the plasti dip will scratch and come off. was at the store getting a bunch of stuff, and i had to squeezed between my truck and another. and pulled the shopping cart agents the bumper pretty good, it scratched it some. i touched it up, but i can look close and see where it was. a wrap would hold up better. i’m going to bed line my bumper this summer.

A dude I went duck hunting with a few weekends ago had his whole Z71 Tahoe Plastic Dipped and it looked great. He loves it and it seemed to hold up pretty well. That's what got me to thinking 'bout doing it to my truck.

yeah. i know there is a few ways of applying it. maybe doing it a different way. it holds up great to light stuff rubbing on it. i rubed mine pretty good with a shopping cart, and a small spot came off. also had a spot come off on my bumper from something els idk what tho.

Look at the forums at dipyourcar.com TONS of great info there... I'm hooked and plan on dipping my whole truck in the future.
Cost of dipping your car (yourself with gun and compressor) ~$300
    Cost of vinyl ~$2,000

I plan on doing mine Desert Tan in a year or 2. Haven't made the decision on vinyl or dip yet.
