That sucks! But if it makes you feel any better I traded that truck to a dumba55 and he rolled it so hard the top of the cab was even with the bed.

No sooner did I make a thread and start to edit it with my content, did this thread bomber put his BS in my build thread.

I pm'd the poster every few months after the fact, asking nicely to delete their post, no response on their end. It's been a year.

With the front bumper that we have we need a hawse style fairlead. Typical with that kind of fairlead you need a synthetic line. You could run the wire line that it comes with but it would chew up your fairlead. That's why I switched my line out to an amsteel blue.

 

What bumper? Most of the newer styled bumpers are deffinately setup for the HAWSE - after the look of my ARB



I feel the hawse looks bad on it, I might have to look at the synthetic rollers for the Winch. That dead space there bothers me

If you are serious, I will trade you straight across....My rollers are only 1 month old. (Bought for Christmas)

 

The trail gear low profile bumper only fits a hawse type fairlead. There is a lip on it that prevents the use of a roller fairlead.

 

We could probably do a mod day over at my place next weekend. Let me check with the misses. Lots of parking where I am at.
