Im getting 199-203 In the city.

 

What was the temperature when you did it? I used plastidip recently at around 45 degrees and it bubbled up like yours. But when I used it on my old truck in the summer it worked great.

 

I want one, but was reading somewhere that you have to mod the plug. Like break a pin off or something so it doesn't de activate your abs?

It's fine for now. I'll peel it off and redo it with self etching primer and paint.

I purchased a extension cable and modded it, versus modding my Ultra-gauge or port under the dash. It works fine.

 

I pulled the pin off my truck (heatshrinked it) and that was all. Heat shrinking it was just to not let it touch anything. some tacos dont require it tho

 

I did the heat gun about 5 or 6 years ago. Didn't really work. Maybe because my flares are fiberglass? I dunno.

But I plan on patching some of the major chips then using self-etching primer and paint on those too.

 

I believe the fiberglass came painted same color as the body. My fender flares are a little faded but don't know if I want to try the heat method as it looks like it smooths out the surface.

 

All 98-00 TRDs have fiberglass fender flares, color-matched or black

 

that vid reminds me about my wheel bearings, does repacking them mean putting in new grease, or bearings?

edit: I'm talking about the manual hubs.

 

Learn something new every day. My 03 came with fiberglass color matched and my 04 is plastic. The plastic ones seems wider than the fiberglass ones.

Yeah, those plastic ones are substantially larger than the 98-00s

 

I think they all are plastic. Mine are color matched and if they were glass then I would have already destroyed them lol.
