Devil Horns Update

    Gentlemen,
    I'm back after another succesful semester at college. Time is never on my side but I try and make time to create unique quality products not sold or made anywhere else! I have been in touch with Toyota Legal Department and they aren't too happy with their logo being "changed", advertised and distributed. However, I managed to accuire permision from them to make a very small quantity for my friends. All tough I haven't had time to make them, I have a number of people that will be getting one. If you're interested in the last ones available, please send me an e-mail to: bluesting004@hotmail.com if I haven't put you on the list (**Please no PM's, only e-mail!**). Please contact me by e-mail only. I can only put you on my list and notify you if I have one available for you. I won't make them until after July and they will run about $60.00 considering a few factors went up in price. I have a few things to mention and I hope to get everyone's oppinion on this:

    1) RECIRCULATE
    So far I had two people e-mail me and return their emblems for the price that they paid. One of them lost his job and couldn't afford the payments on his truck so he sold the emblem back to me. The other sold his truck and the new owner wanted the OEM emblem back. Afterwards I sold them to two different people that wanted them. That action lead me to thinking that if anyone doesn't want their elbmem I will buy it from them and sell it to someone that needs one. Please don't sell them on ebay, I will tell you why.

    2) ONCE A YEAR BASIS
    I had my kicks making these bad boys for all of you and I plan on continuing to do so. I cannot afford to "bother" Toyota's legal department every time someone wants one, therefore I will make them only once a year, probably only every summer. I'm also a college student, full time worker, machine parts on my own so I don't have much time. It's simply more efficient when I do many pieces at once.

    3) LIST
    I have made up a list of people that would like an emblem. If you are interested in one, please drop me an e-mail and request I add you to the list. I will sell them on the order in which I get a request, no exeptions.

    4) KEEP THINGS SIMPLE
    Please don't make a huge fuzz about these emblems! The more they are advertised, viewed, etc, the more likely Toyota won't want them on the market. I ask of you not to put them on ebay, craigslist, etc.

    5) DO NOT SELL THEM ON EBAY!!!
    I had Toyota cancel my e-bay listings for these emblems. Ebay has this thing to track illegal stuff, copyright infringements, etc. so please never put an emblem on ebay.

    6)LIMITED QUANTITY
    Since there are a number of people that have been waiting for these bad boys, I will only sell ONE emblem for each person. Also, I will not sell another emblem to anyone that has baught one from me, this way it's fair for the others.

    7) OTHER FORM OF DEVIL HORNS
    Since I can no longer distribute Devil Horns freely without permission, I was thinking of making a bracket with horns and basically this bracket will be placed between the grill and the original emblem. With the help of CAD and an original grill, I'm sure I can manage to make this bracket and the OEM emblem fit well just like Devil horns. The reason why I'm bringing this up is because I don't see a lot of opportunity to sell Devil Horns like before. Would this be something that some of you might be interested? I'm sure I can make them look good, my name goes well on my priducts.

    This about sums up the latest on these emblems guys. I have other tacoma product but I don't know if anyone is interested... has to do with the iphone. Any other product ideas are always welcomed. let me know what you think, any suggestions, requests, comments are fine. Thank you.

    It's an iphone mount. I haven't seen it worked, I just made the part to specs but aparently you can connect your iphone to this head unit and control incoming calls, music, movies... plenty of applications and you can see it in the screen on selected head units.

    I will try and make a 3D drawing of that bracket with horns that I just mentioned. I think it's a great alternative to Devil Horns considering Toyota might not grant me permission in the future.

    Everything's been ok, I'm actually not finished with finals that's why I won't make them until july. I know I know... there's been arguments wether or not it's a copyright infringement but I'd rather not go head-to-head with Toyota's legal department so I want to play it safe. I just want to have fun making them guys that's all, so I ask everyone to play fair and safe cus it's my A$$ on the line. Things are different now and if I can't get enough devil horns for everyone, we'll go with the horn brackets.
