wells fargo caught mine within an hour of the purchases. They credited the money back to my account. What gets me is they used mine at a gas pump.....which requires an actual card. how the hell did that happen? I hope they get it fixed for you man. and good thing it wasn't that much. but still a pain in the ass

well probably a slim chance but I hope those fuckers get caught. My parents came down here to glendale to visit from seattle. they had their credit card info stolen from a hotel and this person racked up almost $1000 in disney land tickets. disney land refused to refund my parents card but their bank refunded no questions asked. I keep hearing more and more bad things about the glendale/peoria area and credit card faud

Last time I used the card was yesterday at a qt on cave creek. The lady at DS told me that even if you pay with a cc go into the gas station to pay. People have been attaching scanners some how to the pumps the steal your card info.

My card was stolen online a few months ago, they got out over 6,000$ before the bank called me.. However, that 6k was spent in a matter of 30-40 minutes. All of it was spent at an itunes store in London.

Another reason to hate Apple. Happened the day I signed up for itunes for work and my work CC wasn't in yet, so I put my personal one in with the thought of changing it in a couple of days. Nope, with in 2 hours of creating my account my card was hacked and used. Fuck Apple.

You would think Apple could identify who's iTunes account was used. Or was it an apple store?

I've heard that some bank workers also sell out credit card info. They make duplicate cards and then sell them to people. Illegal as hell.

This is why when they ask debit or credit you should always say CREDIT. It's much better to deal with visa/MasterCard fraud dept than your bank and usually they will return your money instantly while investigations the fraud. Banks generally take longer and are more difficult to deal with.

Also when using ATM's and gas pumps be sure to inspect the card reader closely. Skimmers inserted into the card reader usually have something sticking out so the thief can quick pull out the skimmer after you've departed. A common method is a clear piece of tape. In most cases the would be thief is close by monitoring the machine and will pull the skimmer immediately after it was used.

Whenever I use card readers I look for anything odd. Haven't seen anything yet.

Best bet though would be to use cash. Can't go wrong there although it is a bit inconvenient with the change.

I have had my card hacked, stolen, cloned, and even had my account depleted if all its cash. Still never took me more than a day to get my money back on debit or credit.

I think i have insomnia.....even tho the recovery was successful now i have to make some quick decisions on what tires to buy. The replacement lca has a blown ball joint boot and is also starting to crack in the exact same spot...can't sleep and the pain in my arm has officially caught up with me.

On another note, I cant thank each and everyone of you that helped me yesterday and today enough! Seriously this just solidifies a couple sayings, never wheel alone and of course, you gotta pay to play  Sorry i shortened the wheeling trip for you guys
