2013 Pricing - What did you pay?

Thanks guys, I'm actually going to take a trip to one close by this weekend, and make sure my rear facing car seat and infant car seat for the baby on the way fit. and I'll keep in mind that I'm looking at getting the truck for roughly 10% off MSRP.

I guess I should hold off on making any plans to purchase till the end of the month, unless I could get the vehicle at around 10% below MSRP.

Longo Toyota quoted me a price of $28,600 for 2013 DCLB 4X2 Prerunner TRD Sport, Tow Package & floor mats MSRP is 25,110+3,200+650+195= 30,000

How much lower do you all think they would go? What would be a # to aim for?

 

No Deal. Ive previously received a quote at that price but with 4X4. Longo toyota is a huge dealer. You should be able to offer much lower.

 

Thanks. I went on truecar.com and the truecar price estimate I get is $27,872. Is that more in line or is there more room for savings? Only thing I changed here was I didn't include floor mats in options

 

Just got a 4x2, v6, tow package and SR5 pkg for 26,900 +ttl which was best deal I could find out of five dealers.

Im taking delivery of the truck right now (2013 BC V6 TRD OR).... after waiting 8 weeks the truck is here.... problem is they effed up and didnt order it with the V6 OR tow package..... like it was agreed upon at the time we closed the deal
From what i understand from read in TW, its not something that can be ordered and just installed at the dealer...it involves a heavier duty battery and alternator and sensors for the trailer sway control....
If im wrong please give me some feed back....

Don't mind the trolls, they love this thread. Something about saying "you paid too much" without backing it up with their own quoted invoice really gets them off.

 

There's always someone out there that thinks they burnt the salesman. Oh well. I'm happy with my purchase
