Gah, ECGS doesn't do alignments and 4wheelprts is booked until Tuesday. The local ship I took it to didn't feel confident in doing the alignment.
Should I take it to Merchants or Firestone?

Also if you're around Raleigh we should meetup and eat.

Finding a good alignment place can be a pain in the ass. It usually helps if you explain to the tech or on the phone that you have aftermarket parts designed to correct alignment and that they will be able to attain factory specs using factory adjustment methods.

This settles their mind that they won't be doing a 3 hour alignment job and that they know the procedures.

Anyone want a free tow package hitch? Only "hitch" is that you have to take the stock chrome off road package bumper with it :) Bumper has a small dent in the passenger side, but not too bad.

Ok this question is far from car topic but ....
Whats the family friendly locations in South and North Carolina?
How is area around Charlotte, NC? Whats the good school districts?
I am thinking about moving south from current location.

Depending where you are in the NE, schools in the Charleston area of SC don't compare, unless you go private. I moved here from PA and was amazed at the difference. The weather is much nicer though.

The Lake Norman area is probably what you're looking for. Huntersville, Cornelius, Davidson, Mooresville. All are about 15-25 minutes from Uptown Charlotte. Charlotte Mecklenburg and Iredell County have good schools - depending on which area you're in. There are bad parts, and good parts. The Lake Norman area for the most part has the better schools.

No, not better. I speak from experience both as attending schools here and having kids in school here now. Unfortunatley, they are behind. Not saying people here are uneducated, but there seems to be a larger proportion of "harder to educate" people which brings the smater peole down, at least in public schools. Hope that makes sense in a PC sort of way. If I had it to do over, I would have waited till my kids graduate high school and then moved back down south. And, I can only speak for the Charleston/ Summerville area.

I live in Charlotte between south end and myers park, not sure about the schools but it is a nice area. You can park on south blvd. and take the train downtown. Plaza Midwood is also really nice. I grew up outside of Matthews which is also a decent area.
