Undercover all the way. I'm getting rid of mine right now see the for sale section, putting the spare in the bed, taller shock hoops throught the wheel wells, etc. otherwise I'd keep it. Great for storing shit while youre camping! $400 is a steal! (btw I have a dcsb)

bed rails still function, zero drilling for installation, mounts in factory rails!

I just installed the Lorado cover on my '09 Tacoma DC lgbed.
The stock bed rail tie downs DO NOT WORK NOW, be advised.
Argi- should state this in their adds.

How does it differ than the Roll-Up?

I can still use the bed rails and stock cleats. You can see that in the picture I posted above.

No, I have the Roll-Up. Same company, different model.

I couldn't be without my cleats so that was a big factor in my decision. I'm curious why the Loredo disables the use of the rails.

EDIT...you are not the only one to realize this!

Sorry but you are out of luck with the Lorado.

It's low profile I guess, I would have purchased the regular Access cover instead

Just to add since we're discussing the Access covers, the Literider DOES allow use of the bed rails.

I'd like to see pictures of it if you have any. To be "low profile", is it level with your side walls? I thought mine was low profile because it didn't have the arched cross bars.

I spent 3 years with my 1st gen and only had D-rings at the front and back corners of the bed. Hell, I had trucks all my life and never wished I had sliding cleats. I haul dirt bikes frequently and am always tying stuff down.

I actually use the rings on my bed floor (I added some) more than the cleats. You won't miss 'em.

I also ride dirt bikes (40 years now) and until now have used tie down rings in the bed, the cleats were a good novelty, I can get by without them.
I think that Nissan has a much better rail/bed system and it's much more heavy duty.
But all trucks have pros and cons that's why I went Tacoma.

Their rail system is very similar so I see no advantage there. However, in regard to "heavy duty" that would have a lot to do with the bed material, steel vs. composite. The Frontier bed SHOULD be stronger.

If one compares the Nissan rails (stronger and heavier) and the cleats are even cast aluminum.

I wrenched a bike down using the cleat and it really stretched and pulled. Unless absolutely necessary, I will not use the cleat again for hauling my bikes.

I am putting in 4 more cleats for a total of 8. I want 6 on the bed bolts and 2 more on top of the wheel wells. That should give me all I need and I won't even use the cleats.
