After they repaved rt 2 in Arlington a few years ago I used that to run the gears out in my car. Nice and smooth. I would get up to 153 before the road got shitty. That was some scary shit to do on public roads, sorry I mean closed roads in Mexico...

 

I was saying serious rock crawling and ifs don't mix . There's only so much a ifs truck can do .

Crazy....a lot of deer cross over that way. Must have been fun though.

 

Doing my brakes today. Rotors and pads. Wish it was warmer. Have to paint the sliders. Later going to the dealer for rear diff mod parts. Stopped at the dealer yesterday for some pink anti-freeze, $28 for the jug.....wtf

09 cobalt ss turbo. Don't laugh, thing was tits besides the cheap interior. Held the Nuremberg ring record for fwd production cars for a while till a caged and stripped Renault narrowly beat it. 260 HP/ 260ft-lbs tq stock. Had the gm kit ecu upgrade, 280 HP/ 320 ft lbs tq. Plus a few grand in chassis/ braking/ suspension upgrades from the race shop that developed the car with GM.

The speedometer only goes to 160?

That's pretty good for a newer model Tacoma. The VSC seems to eat up the brakes in the newer Tacomas. I got about 70k miles out of mine as well.

 

I've been over 160mph....

 

Scary on public roads. Not as bad on a smooth track, but scary still. You literally feel every pebble and crack in the road surface
