Hit it with a high speed buffer and some wax.
It will lighten it up a bit and make it shiny too.

So I'm thinking about some new wheels tires, but I don't have enough information about fitment just yet. I have an '03 dbl cab 4x4 and I'm looking for new tires. It just so happens that I know a guy getting rid of a set of 2006 17" 4runner wheels with some 265/70R17 BFGs on them. Anybody know anything about the back spacing on these and whether I will have rubbing issues with the wheel well or worse, the UCAs? Here are the wheels/tires

Alright. Here is light output during the day. This is just the lights on when you turn on the head lights, the brake lights are even brighter when you actually push on the brake. So I don't think they are too dark.

    Yesterday -

    Front Suspension Replaced:
Replaced both upper lower control arms and hardware (bolts nuts cams, bump stops) with new OEM Toyota parts
Replaced coils and upper strut mounts w Moog, and Struts w Bilstien 5100s, stock setting.
Replaced upper lower ball joints w Moog
Replaced inner outer tie rods w Moog

    Rear Suspension Replaced:
Replaced rear shackles and front eye bolt with OEM Toyota parts
Replaced rear leafs with Triangle leafs from Deaver suspension
Replaced rear shocks with Bilstien 5125s
Replaced u bolts with Wheelers versions (OEM u bolts are ridiculous expensive) and Rear bump stop from OEM Toyota

Plus an alignment to go with all that.
I thought it was more work than I originally anticipated. Took 5.5 hours for all of that.

Only casualty was a lost wheel cap.

    Rides like new, probably better.

Now to unload all the old suspension at the nearest specialty tacoma recycle yard.

Wow, that's a lot of work! But I bet the suspension and steering is smooth!

So I may be getting new tires tomorrow.... :yay:

All I have to do is hope Walmart or Check-Into-Cash will cash the $1,000 check I have. Sucks having a local bank now that I'm 500 miles away! Haha This also means I won't take my pain meds tomorrow so I can drive....
