    getting there....
fishing line behind the emblems will remove them......pull slowly and they will come off. may need to use a hair dryer to warm them up a bit, or just let the sun take care of it. then, you can use a bit of goo gone to remove any left over glue. then........wash and wax the area.

I used a blow dryer to get those off and some goo gone. Very slowly and it will come off good.;)

    Too few to list.
Make sure you get the left over stick tape out carefully. The black displays scratches easily.

Make sure the surface around the badges is really clean. Any dirt left on the paint may cause scratches when you use the fishing line.

Just removed the excess amount of badging on my tailgate. All thats left is the Tacoma badge, and I'm thinking about moving it to the right side now vice the left. For the record, I have 60k miles on my truck. I used Fishing line and they came off very easily. My fingernail took the rest of the glue off very easily. Wiped it with a cloth and there was no visible markings in the paint. Regardless I still buffed it all out since I was doing the truck anyways. Pics will come tommorow... its about time I took some new ones.

I tried it for a bit, it was my backup because I didn't have very high test fishing line... the floss would always break after about a dozen strokes. You'd have to go really easy on it, but it would eventually break.

fishing line worked perfect for me.

They are painted, but I touched them too soon to put the new tape, so I'm re-sanding tomorrow morning and painting again. Tomorrow evening they'll be on.

I have removed the V6 and SR5 to leave only the toyota and the three tacoma.

It can't be that bad now that i think of it. We had the dealer go to columbus for a seinna and when we picked it up the next day they already had the new badge on it.
