I don't know how old she is, but you are really young and it's not a bad idea to let her know that education is something you bring with you for the rest of your life...it's not like being good at baseball or tennis...a talent that wears off and leaves you with waning abilities...Getting a good education now sets you up with a solid foundation for financial comfort and employment and there is NOTHING that brings about a successful relationship like not having to worry about money...

Your school is what....1/2 hour from tampa? Tampa/Providence on soutwhest is like $96 each way on their regular saver fare...it gets down to $59 on the crazy fares...Let her know she's only 3hrs from home if she ever gets really homesick....

It's easier than ever to move away for a while...There is facebook, skype, texting, twitter etc....You are never left out of what people are up to and I guarantee there will be a lot more people up hear jealous of a february beach picture than you will be missing a february picture of 2 feet of snow..

Crime can be an issue in Florida...but then you can just get a carry permit if you have a pulse...In florida the waitress offers to get you a drink..or some gun oil. Stay off the meth/oxys...

It's probably going to be the easiest time in your life to go away to school like that...Let her know that...and how important she is to you and how she can give it a try...

Air travel ftmfw! I'll bring that up.

I'm really looking for a solid future and I hope she realizes she isn't going to stay at home forever. Might as well leave and live with me.

She is pursuing psych/social work. She can study that anywhere. Why not come with me? Sure it's far from home, but as snope pointed out, it's easier with no kids or anything to find a place you want to set roots in.

I'll talk to her later today.

I guess ultimately, as much as I love her, my future is more important. I'd love to share it with her, but she can't be holding me back. :pout: Big decisions

Trail Squirrel, I sent you a PM but for Becky's sake, I'll post it here also. If you use the add-a-circuit, make sure you install them in the correct orientation.
    55894d1333936621-add-circuit-question-aa_55d373557387828323fd556e1bacd94d37e5f166.jpg
Power should travel up the left pin in the picture above, across the fuses, then either back down the right pin or out the wire. You need a test light or some where to know which side of the fuse power is being fed to. If you install them backwards, they will still work, but power then has to travel across the bottom fuse, then across the top fuse and out the wire. Essentially, your bottom fuse would then be carrying the load for the original circuit and the new circuit and could become over loaded. Then, if the bottom fuse blows, you lose both circuits.

If installed correctly, the stock circuit would be protected by the bottom fuse and the new circuit would be protected by the top fuse. You could blow either fuse and the other circuit would still be in tact and functioning.

Im going to take your advice mike and use one of those and find a fuse that is only hot when the ignition is on, i am going to use a lighted switch and i wouldn't want the light on the switch to be on all the time.
So i think this is what i will be doing, stole this from the thread you gave me a link to

Not sure about that, but I do alright with lighting :D

Evan, when the time comes to wire your lights, if you want to keep from having wires hanging off the battery terminal, use the pin inside the under-hood fuse panel. There is a bolt and nut in the front, passenger side of the fuse panel that is battery power. It's the pin that powers the entire fuse panel. Get a crimp on loop connector and grab your power from that (unbolt the nut, put the loop on, then reinstall nut). That would be the same as battery power but keeps the engine bay looking cleaner.
