    That's what i'm hoping for.

Even during the installation, I had to use the LCA with a floor jack to compress the spring and it started lifting the whole truck off the jackstands.

OME has some seriously beefy products.

Damn! I just can't decide if I want the full OME lift or the ultimate lift kit from Toytec. I'm sure its been hashed out other places... can anyone shed some light on this? Has anyone experienced both?

No problem. I don't see a huge difference in the kits. One benefit of going with 5100s over OME is the extended length of the front shocks is over 1" longer. A benefit of OME is you can use the trim packer to adjust for taco lean. Without the trim packer you can use top plate spacers to adjust for the lean which is fine. Only problem with that is if you want a full 3" lift you will need a 1/4" spacer on the passanger and a 1/2" top plate spacer on the drivers side which will require longet top plate studs.

    So zero and 4 ?

    Shouldn't they be zero / zero ?

not sure how you do it by the way I do is driveshaft angle subtracted from pinion angle @ pinion flange. this was four degrees negative stock.

with dakars in it brought me to 7 degrees negative. adding a 3 degree shim brought me to 4 degrees and ... no vibes.

if you set it to zero you'd have positive angle which would wreak havoc & destruction.

objective is to adjust the pinion angle. if your at zero with the truck at rest, then you have positive pinion angle while under acceleration, cruising down the road which will create vibration & excessive u-joint wear.

*how did you obtain zero @ the trans?

I think you might be missing the point I'm making , the output flanges at the tranny and pumpkin should be aligned ( same angle , zeroed ) to one another

A slew of pricey stuff my wife hates me for.
    Found an informative link-
    http://www.hotrodhotline.com/md/html/drive_shaft_harmonics.php

It's common to "clock" the transfer case down to alleviate extreme driveline angles for rigs that have a lot of lift. In my old rig I had 6" of lift, with 3" from the Drakar springs and the other three from extended shackles. The shackles helped nose up the rear diff, but I needed to clock the transfer down (to zero out the angles). For example, I might have been at 2 degrees up on the rear, but I was 3 or 4 down off the transfer. I was poor, so I didn't. The result was excessive wear and tear on the front u-joint at the transfer. Over time the yoke started to show signs of fatigue and needed to be replaced. I only noticed the yoke going to hell when I replaced the u-joint because it was getting thrashed.

your talking drive line angle, yes that should be zero under acceleration/load (drive line angle = trans angle - pinion angle). that doesn't exactly mean zero at the trans & zero at the pinion flange. to obtain that, like i said, i added shims (easiest & most common way to obtain proper drive line angle).

your saying your angle's are zero @ the trans & zero @ the pinion?

Anyone running the HD OME kit with no steel bumper? I know a few of you here installed the HD but then almost immediately installed the front bumper. I'm talking 5,000 miles later, how does it feel? I'm sure its rough at first but does it calm down at all? I really want the HD kit but my front bumper purchase is a ways out...

If by the HD kit you are referring to the 886s, mine didn't settle much of any without weight on the front.

Thanks. But not worried about settling. I'm wondering about ride quality.

    -4 at the pinion?

driving down the road the -4 pinion is damn close if not 0.

I think a go pro shot of the pinion is needed as a visual aid for this lesson
