What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Idk how it is over there but most judges here in fl if you get a citation for w/e equipment violation and you fix/take car of it they usually drop the citation altogether.

For example: Faulty tag lights. Replace them. Bring pics or the vehicle to court. Officer inspects the vehicle. Ticket dropped.

Illegal window tint. Remove it.......

You get the idea.

Also, if they cop doesn't show up they drop those too.

I work for FWC and I can tell you spotlighting is NOT illegal, at least in Florida. The only way it becomes illegal is if there is a loaded weapon in the vehicle.

 

Correct!! That's a big no no!! Haha I've spotlighted all my life on roads and off road and never been in trouble after being stopped multiple times. I've got some boot video of some big bucks at night here in florida!! I always take my guns out of the truck before I go though!!

 

pulled my headlights off in the parking lot after work, took them back into the warehouse and gave them a good buff had to get all the gluey fingerprints off them from yesterday's project

then of coarse on my whole 10 minute ride home from work, some sort of gimungous bug found its way to the right headlight, so now there's a huge bug splatter on it figures...

 

Finally got my sliders done! A fellow Oregon TacomaWorld member, Toyota Man, was the builder. He put a lot of work into them and they turned out pretty damn sweet! I have a write up and more pics at the link below, and a couple pics too.

The judge will more than likely say "So, the first $240 didn't teach you and you got caught again 2 weeks later? I'm going to follow the laws of probability and fine you another $2400 for the ten times between those two tickets that you didn't get caught!"

You might be able to fight that one as long as you didn't have more than 4 illuminated.
I think it's federal that the limit is no more than 4 lamps, total of no more than 240 watts... but HID and LED are rendering "wattage" irrelevant now and it may have been rewritten to specify lumens. I haven't looked it up in years.

But this brings to mind, how are the LED light bars handled that just have two rows of LEDs and are anywhere from 4" to 3ft long?
I've never seen covers for those either.

 

No. Its for clearing brush when your out and about. I saw it in the store. Orange and charcoal. It called my name. So I had to buy it.
