    .
Look forwards to more data High and thank you for sticking this one out, R&D is a PITA and can get $$$$, I believe that it's guys like you and Tor that have continued to push the envelope of what these engines can do. Toyota built these engines for durability, not necessarily all the performance you can get out of them, hence there is wiggle room to get more.
I have come to the understanding that if one so chooses to skip a S/C, that there are a number of mods that, with each one, adds a little to the output, and that if done all together, can make these engines pretty nice for N/A power.
Having the DBCBLB 4x4 with a cap and rack, that my stock engine is somewhat outmatched with the weight, things like the URD MAF Calibrator to fix data issues got me more out of the 63 intake and EB exhaust, if your product pans out I will buy it, git me a little more to the mix an perhaps some shorty headers will add a little more too.

I'm in the same boat as you. DCSB with a cap and while I don't expect it to be a race car, a little more low end grunt would be welcomed :)

I've been eye-balling this mod for a while also.

After reading all 25 pages with by far the best debate on hp and torque gains, hi or low, "gonna work", not going to work", rabble rabble rabble, I am interested in a purchase. I see over a years hard time and $$$ invested by one person to provide that extra bit of gain out of my engine. Keep up the hard work and lets start cranking these out for the interested TW masses

OP if you still need a truck to do dyno runs with let me know. I'll see if I can come down for a weekend or something. I have family outside Asheville (Waynesville, to be exact) and I'm sure they would love for me to come down for a visit. We can work something out for a little later down the road maybe if needed. I am a 6 speed manual btw.

I'm still looking forward to dyno results. If I were closer I would have helped you already. I'm always interested in something that will help my truck out...

    Thank you, and well said.

You are right. These engines respond very well to just N/A mods. I have posted dyno's of truck that have picked up 40ish whp and 60ish wtq.

Keep in mind though that the 09+ trucks are limited in what they can do NA since the ECU can't realistically be upgraded beyond a MAF Cali. Hardware upgrades can be done, but optimization of the tune cannot.

They can. Just requires one to splice into their factory ecu. Such as Toon714 did with his ProEFI Pro48, or plug n play with the UniChip (currently. Although I won't recommend the Unichip.)

Or someone could pick up a UniChip and use its plug n play harness. Splice into it. There are ways. Just depends on how far that one wants to go.

Tor am I missing something? I seem to not be seeing the graph where a "stock" 1gr-fe in a 2nd gen had a baseline pull and then a "spacer only" installed pull?

At the time when NST did the dyno, on Grumpy's truck, his had an Gen 1 intake, pulleys, and a TRD catback.

It still showed improvements, so that is what is really all that matters. However, you are correct, on behalf of what all I have been invovled with. That it has not been on a bone stock 1GR. I cannot testify for Highaltitude.

Maybe if things pan out soon, I can do it on mine. Maybe.....Since the engine is bone stock. Drive line is just a tad off. ;)
