Matt, I know those are 35's, but does that mean they are 305/75/16 or 315/75/16?

I always thought 35's were 305's and 315's were 36's? Or am I wrong?

They're 315. Actually a little under 35". I like the tire size calc on here to check sizes.

Do you have pics of the CMC that was done? I am assuming this was a complete rebuild of the cab mount since I had to max caster to clear 33s with a standard one piece cut and plate with BAMF CMC plate. How much was it to have the fender clearancing done? How much was the cab mount chop?

Just wondering what kind of scratch it will take to redo my fenders and cab mounts to clear 35s. Also what is the ride quality like? My rear is already stiff with just TSB +1.5" Icon and OMEs. Wondering of the D rated tires and Dakars smoothe things out for you since i am running E rated.

Got a deal on the CMC since I helped a buddy move and the fenders didn't cost anything since I did the work. Actually that is a lie, I spent about $25 for cutoff wheels

Ride quality is great with the Dakars. Pretty stiff but that's how I want it to be. Not much difference between the KM2s and the MTRs just a little louder

 

He did the fenders himself ( #86 & #101 ) & I don't know what Eric or others would charge for the CMC&C.

Looks awesome! Very nice work.

However, I believe you'll find that you're gonna need to chop more off the cab mount, and pound the firewall near it in a bit more. Caster doesn't really change it that much in that spot when compressed.

Also, the other spot you'll most likely hit, is the front fender well area, near where the washer fluid bolts in on the pass side (and same area on driver side of course). Just fold over the small pinch weld there, easy to do with some pliers and small hammer. The rest of that area is smooth, so rubbing it is no biggie.

 

Appreciate the feedback. The sledgehammer will continue to stay out of the toolbox until complete.

 

Mine is on the front passenger floor.....

Just be careful. The firewall splits pretty easily if you pound it too hard

 

And you can make it so your clutch pedal won't go fully down.
