Interval Wipers

Recently bought my first Tacoma (been a Ford guy for years), 2009 Access cab and am pretty happy with it other than a few minor things. I couldn't believe it didn't have interval wipers. My 89 escort had interval wipers. Is it as simple as buying a switch on Ebay and plugging it in to make it work?

 

Welcome and I have no idea about wipers.

 

Is there no intermittent setting at all? Or is there just no variable intermittent setting? From what I've read you need to get a different wiper stalk that has the variable int. feature, then you just have to swap them out. There was a member here selling some of them a while ago, the install is apparently quite simple.

U can just buy the intermittent wiper stalk and install.

Yes it's that simple, I did it on mine when I bought it last year.

Slatercat sold me the switch, great guy and got it to me in no time. It took me 15-20 min start to finish.

Seems good so far, but it only came with one key and I'm not impressed with the $200-250 for one from a dealer.
Already went to the local hardware guy that does chipped keys and he didn't have the right blank.
Not to mention the remote door openers I bought on Ebay because they said all you have to do is open and close the door a few dozen times and put the key in and out a few more dozen times and you'd be in program mode. After trying it a bunch of times and watching the Youtube video a few more times, I found out that you can't do it on 09s gotta go to the Stealer.

I've still got my SuperDuty

 

Not quite as easy..it requires removing the airbag and doing a little wiring. Doesn't look impossible, but still more than this job.
