quick question for you... and don't say to raise my garage door!

I recently bought a house with a huge 2 car garage and park my 2006 tacoma there. However, the radio antenna of my truck hits the garage door when I pull in and pull out. It sounds like hell and has started to put black lines on my garage door.

So... I was thinking about just bending the antenna but then decided that would look bad with my great truck with a crappy bent antenna.

Can I just cut off the top 2-3 inches of the antenna, or will this cause problems...?

    Any imput would be great!

I haven't found it, but there is a mod somewhere about shortening your antenna. People seem to like it.

Buy an AntennaX! I have the Euro 13".It cost me about $20-$25. Looks really slick. No problems with radio channels as of yet.

AntennaX are nice but I think they are too pricey. Most auto parts stores sell a 13 inch short antenna. I picked one up at Auto Zone for $9. No change in reception. Works great.
