I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
Looks like the clips that the motor mounts too. If you dig around you can find generic window clips that you can install yourself.

Bill might know more about these.

Those are the glass securing mounts. Some are a pinch design, depending on the manufacturer, but these look like the bonded type. The question is did they BREAK or did they lose the bonding. If they just lost the bonding, then you can use some glass adhesive to re-bond the piece. You will have to look at the cost. Some glass bonding chemicals are a 2-part adhesive, and can be expensive on its own. If they broke, then your best bet will be to bite the bullet and get a replacement glass.

Ok so I am going to start a list of people who want to go to the central mini meet here in birmingham. I am thinking the slab as stated before and we meet at the mcdonalds in montevallo, drive out to the slab and ride, eat grub, and possibly swim (weather permitted). Add your name if you are wanting to go. It will be on May 5th
    1)Mat
    2)Dave
    3)Jo
    4)Brian (Maybe)
    5)Justin (Maybe)
    6)Travis (possibly)

I know it's a little far in advance but I won't have much time to check this between now and then. Especially April 23-26.
EDIT: OH! Alex won't be able to drive the 10 days after basic, so we will have his truck out there. He can drive on the trails though! maybe

to answer y'alls question about alex not being able to drive. It is because their bodies are so exhausted from boot camp that they can possibly get into accidents. something like that. I can ask my mom, she told me briefly but i forgot it.
Justin, I was on my phone when I was updating the list. sorry I forgot Jo.

Are you for real? Good GOD they are starting to treat Marines like Army dogs now! I graduated boot camp, flew home, then drove 3 hours to report to my duty station early. Wasn't tired at all.

Matt, I know you were just having a little "lol" moment there, but unless you have actually BEEN to Marine basic training, don't comment about it. We were pushed harder back then, because the DIs had a lot more leniency in what they were allowed to do. Today there are too many officers involved who want to take it easy on them and not be so rough, while the DIs are trying to mold them into Marines, and not an officer's play toy. Back when I went through basic, if you screwed up you would end up with a rifle butt to the gut. Today they are told they can't even touch you physically.

Seriously? WTF for real! Are we training a bunch of pussies?

Personally, I never made it to that point because of my being color blind. I didn't realize I was color blind until that point. I was sent home.

I guess now a days, I could cry about color blindness discrimination and get in? Lol

    That's fucking retarded.

Yup, they were very picky back then, and should be IMO.

Don't get anyone wrong mat. I'm sure they put soldiers through hell to this day. But it makes you wonder how tough it was on the guys who made it many years ago. Those are some tough motherfuckers.

I went thru basic in 07. I know it wasn't like it was in the old days but our basic was still tough we has DS hitting people n no one ever thought of trying to say u can't do that. Now it's like cream puff shit. Ur suppose to being training people to defend our country and they don't like u in their face. What they goin to do in a war call timeout.

Comment 1, They have been letting women in for years. Not sure what that comment means.

Comment 2, I don't think our military is letting out a bunch of pussies, but they have increased the number of slackers that have made it through.

Comment 3, I don't think basic had anything to do with the toughness of a military man during Vietnam. Be it a Marine or a soldier. The basic training locations were pumping them out like mass production to get them through. Vietnam is where you became a pussy or a bad-ass.

O hell naw Vietnam they had them cranking out like it was a factory. Just hearing the stories of different generations of military veterans shows how different things have gotten

Yea, I was having an "lol" moment but you also gotta look at the times that you were in compared to now. There is also a different generation if DI's that are there as well. Also, a HELL of a lot more legal issues have gone through EVERY branch of the military between then and now.
No, I haven't BEEN through marines basic but I can comment about it if I want to!
