Going to prime my bumper today after some cleanup of the tight areas with a dremel. After I paint it, I was thinking of putting black non-skid grip tape on all the forward facing and bottom surfaces, like this:[IMG]. Those are the ones that I saw the most rusting/ pitting on. I'm guessing these area's just got hammered by salt, gravel etc.. I was going to put in the top bars where I would step for grip and protection anyways.

Thoughts? I'm hoping it will prevent chipping so I don't have to pull it off too frequently to touch up.

On the list of shit I'll never do...

Get an air tool anywhere near my spark plugs. Different story for glow plugs on a humvee, but not them sparkies.

Satoshi'd grill. blacked out badges. aftermarket sound system. De-chromed and color matched. OME 885s + Dakars with 3rd leaf removed. LR UCAs. Scs stealth 6 with 285 duratracs. BAMF sliders
Crutchfield says 5 1/4 but ********* says 80% of 6 1/2s will work with 1" think adaptors. The mounting depth can be to deep on some 6 1/2s. I still have those ********* mounts for the rear door

I wish. Only reason I get to keep prepping the bumper is cause I already have all of the wire wheels/ scotch brites/ self etching primer from other misc. projects.

    To Do "List"

    1) Lexus inside & Out..

    2) Prep Big Radio and other misc. items for the Mack Office/ Hopefully install before dark ;)

    3) Try to "Touch upon" Mod's list on Tacoma; continue sanding/painting "Winter" away...PLUS actually decide which way I am going this year...keep it stock for a DD and work truck and pursue the SC430 for a weekend ride ..
OR proceed with purchase of skidplate ( TW deal is almost TOO GOOD to pass up),Fog lites & rear lites from Jasper Off Road and TG Rock Rails..
No rear bumper for now...I can purchase everything on that list and still have $$$ left over by dumping that idea..

    Decisions,decisions ,decisions.....

Everyone get out there and enjoy your SUNDAY.....
