Hey who do you guys use for your cabin filter purchases

 

Octo shocks? You mean like Octomom?

 

I bought a 'tune up kit' from Camelback Toyota and it included an OEM cabin air filter. There's a place online that sells them cheap, I can't remember what it's called though

 

I ended up buying mine from the dealer. After I priced out a couple places online after shipping, it was cheaper getting it at the dealer. I am sure there is somewhere online to buy it cheaper, I just didnt find it.

 

Ya I remember reading a post about a place but after a search havent found it yet.

It is for the wifes Honda and I found some online for 20 bucks but I could have sworn someone posted a place that was free shipping and in the teens

 

I had gone on Logical source earlier and it wasnt a good site

Try Autozone unless you really want the OEM..the one for Linda's Rav4 was around $15-$18.

 

I just ordered thru Amazon free shipping and in teens. 17 bucks for a carbon filter I ordered two, so over 25 bucks for the free shipping. The dealer wanted like 77 bucks to swap it out. I walked out to her car walked back in a minute later to show her the filter. I explained where it was and she shit that they wanted that much. They also told her it was filthy and should be changed immediatly. There was a few pine needles and some small debris that I just knock off the filter. I would bet they never even opened the glove box let alone removed the filter to inspect it.

I think i will start the boat motor this weekend and try to get out on the water. I have a little 11' alum with a merc. It is self contained, I didnt want the large red fuel can since I travel to water less to lug

 

The wife is getting spring fever and scheduled a camping trip for us in June before the public schools let out for the summer. Gotta admit I'm pretty stoked that it's finally warming up.
