sup guys,
recently bought some new wheels for my truck. However the tpms from my stock sr5 steelies cant transfer on to the new set with out a new strap. Thinking about leaving the tpms in the steelies and just running my new wheels without them. Any downside with this besides not being able to tell whether my wheels are flat or under inflated? or should i just transfer them over?. Thanks cuz!

You will probably have a little light on the dash that blinks at you. My Nissan does. And my Pontiac used to beep every few minutes..

You can make a pipe bomb if you don't want to buy new TPMS, and don't want your light blinking at you constantly.

WTF?!?!?! This is what I saw coming out of Times supermarket parking lot yesterday. Sad some elderly people should not be driving. Luckily my bumper had some minor damage just my lower valance needs to be touched up with more flat black paint. At first I was ready to lose it. After seeing what type of driver the other car had and the minor damage, I can safely say we can all laugh at the pictures. Just figured on sharing this. How would you react if you seen your taco like this in a parking lot? LOL

 

Wow. Doesn't surprise me tho. Some people on this island don't know how to drive with aloha, dont' know how to park, or just plain don't know how to drive...
Sometimes I see cars with the "drive with Aloha" bumper sticker on their car, but are driving like pricks. Makes me wanna follow them home, peel the sticker off and stick it on the inside of their car to remind themselves.

 

PupuleUlua, that post attracted me to this thread. I do just the oposite to my friends. I park right on them with my tacoma just because it is entertaining for a moment. i stopped when i caught a license plate with my back bumber and almost ripped it off. The guy was a good friend of mine so neither of us cared, i just figured it good to stop.

 

It could have been worse at least it was a car and not a big SUV with a blue handicap placard hanging from the rear view mirror.

 

had that happen to me too, at Cycle City..some tourist parked and his car jerked forward from drive to park. Didn't have any damage, but the guy denied and fault until he reversed his car and jerked again after parking.

He fessed up and gave me $40 for my trouble.

 

I will go get a pack of burgers and buns.

 

Dude... You really didn't need to spend that kind of money starting out. A simple manual power control flash is way better. And cheaper most of the time. I have an SB-900 and I regret bying it most of the time. A simple Yongnou 560 II is an amazing flash to start with and it's only like $70.

I have some cheapy flashhead stands and reflectors/umbrellas if you want them, you can have em. Not sure if the 430 has wireless tho. Fun for playing around. I've used them a few times playing around the house and with my daughter posing
