No shit? We first drove up monitor pass and collected a bunch of firewood that Caltrans just got through cutting down.
After we ended up doing a loop from Leviathan Mine Rd to China Springs Rd. Nice drive, a little bumpy/rocky, but cool none the less.

Do you know any places nearby that I can do some "real" prerunning. Seems like every time I hit the dirt out here it ends up mostly being a slow crawling trail. I want something I can put my suspension to use. Whoops, wash, dirt, and sand that I can haul ass on is what I'm looking for.

You could try east side lane the south end is paved but if you go north on it its mostly open rolling dirt road can get a little bumpy I haven't driven the whole thing but my engineertold me it connects to smith valley at some point

I believe the truck you're referring to belongs to Lisa trent, wife of Derek at Trent Fab. They traded her built Jeep TJ for it is what I hear.
Its SASed, linked on coils and running 40" MTR kevlar's stickys on beadlocks, Tube bumpers, etc. I've got a pic on my phone, saw it at Adams HRC a week or 2 ago.

    Sound right?
