How to install a 1" body lift Sorry if its already been posted.

 

How to quickly remove a seized rotor, no hammer or mallet needed. It worked for me in 2 minutes after an hour of trying everything else. This is not my video.

I had a 1/4" piece of aluminum as a spacer and used the caliper bolt to press against the spacer. Note you need a large size spacer as the bolt overlaps with only 1/2 of the rotor surface, unlike this video. A spacer the size of a quarter as an example will not work.

 

Bought my wife a 05 tacoma with a little lift and doesnt ride all that great. What kind of shocks could i put on it to help with the ride?

 

Bilstein 5100 all the way around will be a huge improvement in my opinion.

I bought an '07 4.0L Double-cab sport with 83,000 about this time last year and until this weekend all I've done is change the oil. Between yesterday and today however, I:
Changed the front & rear diff., and TC oil
Did the rear diff. breather Mod
AC condenser drain extension
Changed the Spark Plugs (1st time on 86,000 miles, plugs weren't completely toast either, but getting there)
Changed Cabin/Air filter (didn't need write-ups for these, not that inept!)

Planning on keeping this thing till the wheels fall off and I feel much more confident in that knowing I'll be performing most of the maintenance and saving so much $$ in the course of doing so. Keep up the good work!

I found this mod on a Tundra forum and thought it might be a good one to add tothe list. Its super easy – took about 20minutes – and my fogs are MUCH brighter now but still have the appropriate light pattern. I used standard Sylvania H9 bulbs, but there are also SilverStar bulbs available that would be even brighter. You can also get 100w H9 bulbs,but I’m not sure if this is safe for the wiring or the lens. Switching from standard H11 to H9 bulbs goes from 1350 lumens to 2100 lumens, while the wattage goes from 55w to 65w. Nobody on the Tundra site reported any problems after switching to the 65w bulbs.

Definitely go with Bilstein 5100 might also have 5160 available. Check Bilstein's new website Bilsteinoffroad.com you can order online and call for tech info. Had a great experience myself.

 

bought a fog light kit for my Tacoma from ebay. the kit had no instructions, plugs that were not labeled, wires were either too long or too short and the switch would not fit the Toyota blanks without cutting them up. so I scrapped everything made my own harness waiting for a oem switch and wired the fogs to the running lights instead of the low beams. what a waist of 107.00

Just get some T-Taps from advance or lowes or similar, clamp the wires in.
