Is 2012-2013 Tacoma a Class Action Lawsuit On Wheels?

Haha this is some funny crap. I just wasted 20 minutes of my life reading all this. But uh my truck makes some noise when I drive through water puddles. Do I get a new truck too? Lol.

My rear springs still make a clack noise on some bumps they never fixed, I take it so seriously I paid it off and kept the truck.

 

So because one dealer can't fix it therefore sue Toyota? Dealerships suck, this is a pretty known fact. He should at least try a different dealership or dedicate a day to try and resolve this issue himself. Hell he could probably even get some TW members to help him. This is one thing I hate about today, everyone gets sue happy over everything.

This forum represents a pretty good sample size of Tacoma owners and this issue would be much more present if it was an issue that was widespread.

My 13 does have a whistle at highway speeds. It is annoying. I took it to the dealer and of course they said they could not duplicate the sound. I will have to take it back again. So I see his point about it being annoying but not to the extreme he suggests.

 

My truck rattles, squeaks, grinds, crunches and goes thud everywhere I go

My dealer got a factory rep of some type and he drove with me, duplicated the problem (springs making a clack). They put spray foam between my springs and the sound went away for a while lol. I try to focus on the fact that they tried, but dang!!

OP I feel for you. Every car has its dirty little secret, unfortunately yours is an annoying noise. Ask your dealer to change out the weather stripping. Really this is nothing. Is the seal leaking?

have you pinpointed the whistle? Maybe one of your buddies put a whistle in your tail pipe.
