Send an email or phone call to TRS.
They do not work weekends, so don't expect a reply before Monday.

Do NOT send them a PM... they do not respond to PMs.

No, you don't HAVE to. That's what it was for though. All of their kits come with a harness.

What do you think about this pattern? My right side light is not perfectly aligned. That's what i get for not doing the alignment in better conditions, meaning there was still to much light outside.

That is possibly perfect, though it looks like it might be a little too far to the left (really can't tell without the front of the truck for reference)
The patterns that show both cutoffs in the same place are not properly aligned. If they are lined up to match at 20ft, then at 200ft, the passenger side upper cutoff is going to hit oncoming traffic.
The distance between the cutoffs, at any distance, should be the same as the measurement from center to center on the truck.

Guys at TRS are awesome! Got my warranty parts in only a couple days, fixed the problem on the weekend. All is good now. I ran into one small problem, after changing the lens due to a crack that showed up when I was re-installing, I must have gotten some condensation on the bulb and when I turned it on I fried it. I ended up buying 2 new bulbs from the auto parts store (so they have the same colour). Now I'm running GE bulbs $185 later... oops

Anyone hear from Burt [ambiguous] the last few weeks? He missed three appointments to install lights for me and then hasn't replied to calls, texts, or private message on this forum. He seemed like a really nice guy that did a great job, but has gone totally MIA and has severely disappointed.

I emailed that guy several times to send me an INVOICE throughout the last 2 months and haven't heard shit from him! Hope i never have a warranty claim, if not I'm screwed without proof of purchase!

Ok, so i went to Lowes and used the wall again. For the life of me, i couldn't get my headlights to point down any further. The adjustment screw wasn't doing anything anymore. Not sure whats going on but they wont go down and i'm afraid that they are aimed to high. Any suggestions?

If the low end of the cutoff is level with the centerline of the housing or a bit lower, you're fine.

Different states have different standards (even though they should all be in compliance Federally).
Some states spec 2.1mm below center at 20ft. Some spec 2.1 INCHES below center at 20ft.
California specs no more than 5" below center at 25ft.

So i had to open my left headlight again. I found that when i sealed the projector onto the reflector, there was to much JB weld on the back of it not allowing the bowl to be adjusted inside the housing when sealed. Simple fix, used a dremel to grind off some of the JB weld allowing the bowl to move without binding against anything. I am now able to adjust the light up/down and left to right with no binding whatsoever.

So the light are adjusted perfectly now, or as perfect as its going to get, i am not blinding anyone either.

Anyone else heard from him? I wouldn't mind getting some proof of purchase.

I emailed TRS just the other day, curious of how warranty stuff would work. Here is their reply.

Let's hope not. I'm continuing my conversation with TRS, asking what will happen if we can't get a hold of Burt.

You would figure that TRS would have our groupbuy on file anyway, so I'm not sure why they are so hesitant.

One of the posters above, Slesse, said he had a part warrantied without issue. I wonder if he had an invoice. Didn't sound like he had any problems.

Currently waiting for a reply from TRS.

TRS was able to find my order and said they would have no problem offering warranty service. Great customer service as usual!
