Well I got these blue LEDs from Varad off eBay and they have a resistor built in before the bulb and can be double stickyed where you want to put the resistor. I did the simple test by connecting it to the cigarette lighter outlet, simply by touching + to + and - to -, the light seemed ok and I don't think they'll be a drop in fuction if I ran the power from the fuse box or another hot line, maybe even directly to the battery. I haven't got that far yet.

If the LED has resistors already attached, then you can attach it to any wire in your car that runs 12volts, including the fuse box and directly from the battery. Just keep it fused to be on the safe side.

*edit: grind down the dome shape of the LED for a more diffused lighting look. This won't effect brightness at all. Just be sure to not damage the diode inside or it will break.

Any pics? It's always nice to see what people end up with for interior lights, I have yet to install my 4 little Varad LEDs...

    Custom Led Dashlights/Radio
you can use two led's per individual gauge on your dashboard and that will really add color to your truck. Instead of re soldering the small led's on the board, you can run fit two leds in each compartment behind your faceplate and the run them with a resister for every 2 l'eds. then group them in parallel and power them using one tap splitter off a (+)positive line from your fuse box
