I will chase for you and one of Tom's buddy's who is racing a 1500 Car. Jen and I will be on call and ready to respond that day on course.

Three main vehicles in a race:
    - Prerunner
    - Race Truck
    - Chase Truck

Prerunner preruns the race course and allows the driver, codriver, and team to learn the course, take notes, and make race plans. This happens a few days prior to the race. The prerunner needs to be built similar to the race truck to be able to withstand the terrain. It only needs to carry a driver and some passengers to take notes.

    This can be a prerunner:

    race truck races.

Chase truck is on standby at Main Pit, satellite pits, or roaming around the race course to respond to the race truck if something breaks. It needs to be able to carry a driver and passengers to assist with the fix, along with all the tools and parts needed to fix the race truck. It also needs to be built similar to the race truck or be able to withstand the same terrain so it can get to where the race truck broke to fix it. The more built the chase truck is, the faster it can respond, and the less time the race truck remains down due to something breaking.

This can be a chase truck:

It's the ultimate reward for owning an LT truck. You are granted permission to be on the race course during a race, and you are given the responsibility of fixing the race truck. At the end of the day, you celebrate with the race team, and you have the feeling that you contributed to the sport.

The Factory Racing is based out of Santa Barbara and they attend almost every race in Barstow, Lucerne, and Baja.
