Not trying to be a smartass, but that should be in the owner's manual. The manual has an index in the back; at least mine does.

I think I need to take a break from modding and just enjoy the truck. The skidplate is out in the garage, still in its packaging and I have no desire to bust it out.

Has anyone done business with line x off of manual? I dropped my Avid light bar off there on monday, ive called twice since to see whats up and they keep telling me that its at the blaster. how long does it take to blast a bare metal brand new light bar? should it of taken this long to even get done? luckily i havent paid for the service yet but each time i call i keep getting the same answer... im even thinking about driving over walking in and getting a face to face answer...

i would just walk in and tell them to give it back, give em $30, go to autozone, get a good can of bedliner and paint it yourself. was it not already painted black?

no it came bare metal. i didnt think it would of needed to go to a blaster since there is no rust being brand new from avid. I called one more time today and they said they are a little behind on some orders while their sprayer is on vacation... you would think that all the employees there would be able to spray? im still going in today though...

yeah i agree. even if it is done when i go in i think ill make it a point to cut down the price. 250 isnt bad but four days to do spray a simple light bar is outrageous for that price especially when on their website they say it can be done in a day.... im gonna go talk to them and see whats up...

so i just got back from Line x and the reason it is still at the blaster is because the city has a contract with the blaster to have the turquoise bus stop things come first so everything else is on hold till the contract with the city is done. line x did offer to take 75 bucks off plus no need to pay tax for my order for now they said if they dont get it back by monday they will be willing to make my order total price at 100 bucks.

so all in all im pretty happy that i got a face to face answer plus an offer to take of a bit of the price!

i would have never payed $250 to paint a light bar, you can get a whole new one for that price!

also, are you sure its not made of aluminum? im pretty sure my off-brand light bar is made of aluminum
