^what he said. No ABS and no locker light = failed mod or it's not engaged.

Try pushing the button and driving forward or backward 10-20 feet while moving the steering wheel left and right a few times at low speed. The gears need to line up before they mesh and the locker engages. If you've never used it before it'll take longer as things are not broken in yet.

Thank you for your service & for your sacrifice. If you lived closer to me I'd offer up my garage & a work day so we could work on your truck whenever you needed the help. Maybe someone closer to you can lend a hand if you'll have it. Are there any discussion threads for your area? We've got a Colorado BS thread & I've seen there are others as well so maybe do a search & see if you can come up with something. We do work days, trail runs, meet & greats & sometimes just get together for beers. If you can find something like that near you I'm sure you'll find a good group of guys to hang out with.

    Yep.
Hey terry, post up in these threads. I guarantee someone will be able to help you out brother. Much easier to deal with stuff in person! Not sure where you're at but give them a shot

The lights only come on when engaged. Just make sure you didn't blow any fuses. That's the most common issue I see when it doesn't work at first.

Don't go so far as to take shit apart. Double check your wiring, verify all the fuses are good, then report back here. I'd bet you blew a fuse. I know I did the first time, and then had to go driving to get it to engage.

For a couple of bucks more you could just install a cigarette lighter / accessory plug there and plug the USB thing into it. Makes it so you don't have to worry when the USB thing craps out (I've had them die on me before) about replacing it (just plug in a new one) and allows you to use other things that aren't USB powered.

Check them all. If I recall, I blew the 4WD one when I did it.

Has anyone had luck with the seatbelt chime mod on a '13? I've tried a few times, no luck, but I never know if I'm counting off too fast or slow.

Too much to list, but enough to get me in trouble. Repeatedly.
The seatbelt reminder light on the dash flashes precisely once a second.

Anyone know if there is a mod to make the doors lock automatically when you put the truck in drive on a 2010?

My understanding from both forums and dealers, is that on 2013's this mod can only be done by the dealer using their computer program. Most dealers will do it n/c, but I've heard of some that won't do it.

It's the little things like this that make me wonder if my 2008 will be the newest vehicle I'll ever own. I can see the computer stuff for engine management, but I shouldn't need to run to the dealer to change the little things, free or not.

    Yep.
Take your dash apart and remove the buzzer. That was one of my first mods (during led swap) and is still in my top 5 favorite

Although I do have an '05... not sure about the '12+

Still making my way through this thread, so there may be responses after... I hit a patch of black ice in a curve about 7 years ago in a WRX. Spun off the road, hit a boulder, flipped into a tree, and landed upside down in a creek. My 3D cell mag light tucked "securely" between the seat rail and the tranny tunnel became dislodged at some point and gave me a nice smack across the eye. Not a scratch on me other than a black eye. Rolled the window down (up?) and crawled out.

Since then I have a different opinion of secure...

Bw s256 turbo with 3 in glass pack dumped pre axle raptor liner bed and top rails and fenderflares and rocker panels. Hunter side steps. Plasti-dipped upper fenders and emblems. satin black spray paint here and there inside and out. 5100's set to 1.75" up front . C channel front bumper. Maxxis bighorn 255/85/16
I bout a kit of raptor liner of ebay (4 1 liter bottles, hardener, and spray gun) for $99. this was just 2 of the bottles and got me 2 coats everywhere but the floor of the bed in which i did 3 coats. it was super easy just washed, sanded, wiped down with mineral spirits, taped off, mixed (bottles a 3/4 full u fill the rest with hardener) and shot.
