I basically use these weird little things I found at Home Depot, remove the spring and use some washers cut to fit in rails to help hold those nuts in.

As far as the shovel mount.... I used two pieces of 2" wide 1/8" thick aluminum strip metal from Home Depot, cut them to length, painted them black, drilled bed rail mounting holes, bolted some Quick Fists to them and mounted them to the bed rails....vuala, homemade shovel mount. I also got those little rubber bolt covers and put them on back of bolts so they don't rattle against bed wall. I used bolts long enough to mount the Quick Fists and to act as feet against the bed wall and help stop sway/rattle of the shovel & mount.

I'll take some close up pics of hardware and the DIY mount and post them later this week.

Nothing yet that's why I'm here.
Thank you very much. I have been really excited about modifying my rail system and bummed when I found out there weren't many after market parts out there...

Not like my other rail system that has a ton of stuff I can add to it.

You can mount a scope, flashlight and laser to your bed rails too, but it might look odd, lol. I assume that was the rail system you were referring to.

Have you seen this thread? Or one on TTORA

The part number that you listed for those center caps shows to be gray. Is that the same as Anthracite?

How many coats of primer and paint did you use on your rims?

I basically do it until it looks good. Definetly did at least 3 coats of paint maybe 4.

Tactical Tacoma - Did the TRD center caps fit your 17" wheels or did they require modification? BTW, your build looks great!

Thanks man. And no, I didn't have to do anything, they popped right on. However, I know some people like to still do a piece of double sided tape on each tab, just in case.

Any luck finding LED DTRL to match stock color? I'm also a little disappointed with darkness of jumper's amber LEDs.

Nope, not yet. I know exactly what you mean man, I'm kind of a perfectionist and it bugs me so bad they are different shades of Amber
