Speaking of cup holders...I only recently noticed that the one closest to the armrest in my truck is bigger than the one in front of it...quite interesting. And it is very nice to have that little "notch" in the side for the coffee cup handle...as I found out the other morning when I forgot to switch to a travel mug :D

And since I don't have 4WD, I have yet ANOTHER two round cup holders where the 4WD shifter would be...one of which houses my cupholder style gum (quit smoking a while back and it's my current "habit," so have to have it when driving).

    lol

I hate this interior color so much I actually petitioned Toyota to changed it to "fairy gray" on their website.

btw - if you do the "cup holder thingy" mod... you can actually customize the tab lengths to suit your needs.

I've been drinking out of the same travel mug every day since 2002. I customized the aft most cup holder tabs to fit the mug perfectly.

I'll be damned, I replaced both front axles on my '98 3.4. The garage wanted $1060 and I figured, "what the hell - I'll give it a go and pay myself the difference. It cost me $75 x2 = $150 for parts, and I had to spring for a $100 50-250 lb torque wrench and a $26 35mm socket. That was it! And the second one I did took me about an hour!!! The more I attempt (and the more I use this amazing TacomaWorld resource as my reference library), the more confidence I have! Next up: driving down the Alcan to Seattle, and once there, replacing my rear leaf springs with OME Dakars, and replacing an inner rear axle seal.

I couldn't do it without the community's help. Thanks.

 Good work. I need to learn to do that. And btw, you'll like the dakars :D If you haul much weight I would recommend using their AAL with them though.

Your doing it wrong. I think you should trade me your purty round ones. Imagine how much more change you could put in my square ones with all those extra corners. :D

On a side note, no more ugly roller fairlead!
