I'm having some Caster problems.

    Thanks, I'm gonna let the dealership take care of it. My cam bolts look fine though not rusted or anything. I'm so confused haha

    You should still be under warranty unless your over 36k so hopefully they cover it all.

    Caster will not ware tires camber will and it's way off listen to OZ the cam bolts won't move. Years ago the cheap shops "set the toe and let it go"

    My Camber and Toe are as close to 0 as possible, so I've got that covered.

    What do you mean by this? Do you mean that they are very hard to remove?

    look at the links I provided - plenty of pics there. The bolt literally gets seized to the bushing by rust and will not move.

    Gotcha. That's weird if that's the problem cause they look shiny and new.

    The rust is inside the bushing , there is a metal sleeve inside the bushing , the bolt goes through the metal sleeve , Toyota does not put grease in this sleeve when the bolt is installed at the factory , if the bolt seizes to the sleeve it can no longer freely turn meaning no adjustment available

    Ya can't adjust the caster until the camber is right either way if you can't turn the bolts you can't adjust any thing except the toe in.

    Yea, all they did was adjust the camber and toe in. I'm just glad the caster doesn't affect tire wear.

    If the tech was knowledgeable, and any of the cam bolts were siezed, he would have told you that. Also, if he was knowledgeable enough, he would have been able to pin point any front end issue you may be having. The only thing that would be tough to pin point, is a bent frame. What it sounds like to me, is that maybe your alignment cams are upside down. This is actually a common mistake, happened to me the last time I got my truck aligned. The techs had the manager, who was a 20 year alignment tech out looking at my truck, because they had it in the shop for three hours trying to figure out why they couldn't get anything close to spec. They tried blaming it on my lift, and you don't even have a lift. So when I went out to help em out, I pointed out that they had turned all four cams upside down. So the manager tried arguing that it would make no difference. I told him just do it, low and behold after three hours of fighting with it, twenty minutes later the alignment came out perfect, with more than enough caster. All of your alignment cams don't to be facing directly up, but the points should all be in the upper hemisphere of the cams. If that makes sense. How bout some pics of your alignment cams, that should tell us a whole lot. Two on each side of your truck.

    How did they get your alignment cams upside down with the tabs in place ?

    I guess with the right amount of force. It really isn't too difficult.

    They must have loosened them off enough to clear the tabs in order to flip them if your tabs aren't flattened

    Really doesn't take that much to turn them up side down, just a little extra umph.
