There's a fix buried in this thread somewhere (or maybe in another thread). Need to put a piece of rubber between the top 2 leafs near the bushing in the front.

I've heard of some guys doing a flip bracket for the leaf springs in the rear? Or something like that. What exactly is the gain of it? What I have seen it lets the leaf spring travel further down towards the ground, but is there anything else?

A slew of pricey stuff my wife hates me for.
Are you talking about the U-bolt flip or the shackle flip http://www.armortechoffroad.com/2005--2013-Tacoma-Stock-Shackle-Flip-kit_p_334.html

The u-bolt flip protects the threads on the u-bolts. The shackle flip allows the shackle to articulate better (more range of motion) thus allowing for more rear flex.

Shackle flip. That's the one. Thank you. So for example, I'm putting on some Dakars with my OME, could I do the shackle flip at some point? Or would I have to get a different rear shock with more travel?

The ATO shackle flip will give you an additional 3/4" lift with dakars. I think you can get longer shackles for more lift. If you get longer shocks for more droop you may have to extend your bumpstops. But i dont think you will have much or any added droop with nitrochargers.

Use a piece of metal , like redi rod or square stock to span across the face , I think I found 5/16" redi rod would fit through the u joint and take your angle off of that

Good idea, thanks! I don't know the concrete contractor terms, by redi rod do you mean threaded rod?

Yep , or even a long 1/4" twist drill bit will work , anything that is a consistent thickness so the reading is true

So with the one Nitro chargers and dakars in the rear I could do this?

IMO the shackle flip is pointless unless you get longer shocks. It would be even better if you relocate your shock towers, then you could get some real good travel. Have you looked into BAMF shock relocation kit? http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/ba...-b-m-f-2nd-gen-rear-shock-relocation-kit.html

If you stick with the stock mounting locations, you can get longer shocks to increase your droop a little, but you might need to extend your bumpstops. You would be sacrifising uptravel and gaining downtravel. Just so you know i have no measurments or experience with a setup like this to support what i am telling you, this is just what i have learned from info on the site, i may not be 100% correct.

Nice. Simple and easy. I dont know why i didnt think of this while i was under my truck. Then i would assume i can just subtract 90* from the reading to get the output angle on the same plane as the driveshaft angles.
