    Use brake fluid or bleach, after the chrome comes off then used sand paper to put a profile in the metal. Then prime it and finish coat it for best results

    ok. and i don’t think i’m going to use primer. just using rustoleum bed liner. If i was using paint, yeah i would def use primer.

    I have 2 cans. I also have a small rust spot i got to take care of. also thinking about getting some rubber undercoating and doing the back side of it, to also help stop rust. I saw some rubber undercoating in a spray can at napa.

    The harness, if I remember right should be hidden on the driver side of the truck, follow your trailer harness back until you find all the connectors, they connect your trailer harness and license plate lights
