Ill admit... fairly new. Just got my truck in dec, been reading up on the forum for about a year. Definitely learning a lot thats for sure.

Slowly but surely starting my build.

-If you're lifting your truck whatever shocks and springs it came with are going into the trash (exception being if you use AAL).
-ALL Yota factory skids are garbage. I think we can agree.
-Wheels are wheels are wheels. Some are shiny, some are not. Rubber is where you make a difference.
-I mentioned the locker

My point is paying more for the TuRD logo just doesn't make any sense when you're going to lift it. The "offroad package" is really just shiny junk which isn't worth the extra money. We're talking $5-6k, which could net you a full OME (or better) lift, full skids, and a rear ARB (or enough money for front and rear) locker.

No offense to all of you TuRD guys.

 

We also have better interior options. Although you get a shitty chrome bumper with O/R's that I wish was color match or just factory black...

What is the ideal alignment specs after a lift

Annoyed today. I guess my lift has some parts that are on back order and haven't shipped yet. So now I'm guessing I should cancel and order from all pro since they have parts in stock. Couple things.

I've seen billes with ome coils installed. Does that work well. I know i Probably will need to keep the shock at it's lowest setting. I asked toytec about this and they didn't Recommend it but I've seem people do it . Should I do this. Much cheaper then ordering ome shocks.

2. Is the rake gonna be bad with 3inch lift up front and only 2.5 in front. I don't mind a rakek but I don't want it being too bad you know? Decions. Grrrr
