I decided I hate Toyota of Waldford.. I was sitting at the table ready to close a deal on a new crew cab Tundra TRD and the sells manager(Will) comes back to the table after a short dimissal and says" OOOPPS my adjuster made a mistake, we cant give you what we offered you in writing for your trade in! Who in the hell does this to people? I was so pissed after wasting 4 hours of my day,plus the kids were getting restless. I walked away mad as hell.

 

Go to bayside toyota in Calvert any dealership in waldorf is crap and not professional .

 

Sucks wasting 4 hours of your and the family time. Walking away was the best thing you could have done. I would expect a call back today as long as you did not go ballistic on them. It would have been very hard for me not to go ballistic if I was in that situation.

I got both of my trucks now from Koons in Annapolis

 

I picked up my Tacoma from Koons in Annapolis as well. I know there is a lot of negative thoughts about Koons but I had a very positive experience with them. Ask for Josh, he treated me well.

 

Tom i wanted to unload on them but decided that since I had Jacob and Alex with me , I would not be setting a good example for them. So I just told Will that the deal was crappy and we walked out. Lesson learned. Stay away from them. far away. lol

I hope it works out for you Craig. The whole purchase process was very positive. Tacoma came in at 04:30 in the afternoon. I drove it away at 08:30 that night. I bought it under the CARS program so the dealership was very crowded and the bottleneck being the finance guy at the dealership.

Since I do my own maintenance I have only used the dealership for 2 warranty items and both experiences being ok.

Koons keeps wanting me to sell them my Tacoma and purchase a new vehicle. Until they offer me a new Tacoma for my used Tacoma at no cost to me I think I will pass on the offer.

 

I thank you Tom for the heads up. I have been on the Phone with Ted over at Koons and he is a hard line person like myself. I am going up on the Fourth to sign the paperwork and take delivery. I will miss the Tacoma but I really need more room for the boys. I guess I should get a mod list ready.

 

Your family is the most important part of your life. More room for the boys and all the toys.

I was looing to see what the current offers on the Tundra are and the Toyota website would not give me the information. I find that to be strange.

 

When I got my Tacoma I tried Waldorf and they wouldn't deal with me at all. I ended up buying from Toyota of Bowie and got my 2013 Tundra from them too.

 

^^Yes, that is where I bought my Tacoma as well. How do you like the Tundra compared to the taco? I take delivery of it on the Fourth.
