That's where I'm confused, shouldn't a blue LED turn a redish needle purple?

Looks great, just can't figure it out :D

Yup, had to strip the orange paint with nail polish remover and sprayed it with sky blue paint. Not to bad couple hours of work.

Anyone on here running aftermarket wheels WITHOUT tpms inside them? Any disadvantages besides the light on the dashboard. Just got new wheels but I have the steelie stocks and was told that the tpms would not be a direct swap onto my new set. Heard a strap band kit would work but not sure if its recommended and cant afford to buy a new set of tpms right now. Any help would be much appreciated.
    Thanks ahh.

I'm running aftermarket alloy wheels without the TPMS because I also had the stock steelies before. As you know the TPMS from the steelies don't fit alloys and you would have to purchase a different set to fit alloys. There isn't any disadvantages I can see besides having the light on the dash. However, I was getting annoyed with the light so I did the TPMS pipe bomb mod. I searched for the how-to on this site. It's pretty much a PVC pipe which you put the TPMS in and pressurize to simulate them being in the wheels. I just keep it in my tool bag in my truck but you could also strap it on to the frame or something with zip ties. After doing the mod and pumping the PVC pipe to 30 psi the light went off and it's been light free for months now and still going!!

edit: I also didn't want to use those strap kits because they just look kinda sketchy and unsafe and pain to change tires

Read two posts above yours, permanent fix.
Who really wants a pipe in your truck rattling around only for the batteries to die and get the light back on anyway, not worth the trouble if you ask me.

#imnotsayingimjustsaying you build it right padded inside you won't have the rattle and the batteries last quote a long time...and it's reversible

I understand, I just feel its not worth all the effort. Batteries are supposedly rated for 7-10 years.

Question for those that have run 5100s - is there a big difference in the ride quality in 5100s and the stock bilstein sport package shock. mahalo.
