    No, they used the most absurd weatherstripping I've ever seen.

    As soon as I have a way to suspend my topper from my rafters or something else, I'm going to do it right.

    Today I did a long overdue ATF drain and fill using 4 quarts of genuine Toyota fluid that I bought online for decent price..

    It's super hot in Cali right now so I'm gonna delay my transmission cooler install for another weekend. That will give me another 4 quart round of another ATF drain and fill.

    Yea thats some nasty looking stuff there, how many miles on that fluid anyhow. I had 160,000 on mine before i did one and it didn't look anything like that.

    I already sealed the gap between the fore bed rail and two side rails. Those are the main culprits for me. However they used 1/2" (or maybe 9/16") thick weather stripping. I've never seen anything so thick used before. And they did an amateur job (new kid was installing the topper on my truck). So at that leading edge he doubled up the weather stripping in ways that makes it so the topper actually can't even rest on the rails even if the clamp is right there (hard to explain).

    supercharged with MCM front kit

    You should be safe with front tires down. If the rear tires are down you will burn up the Tcase because the driveshaft/tcase output are spinning but there isn't any oil slinging becuase tcase and or tranny are in neutral. With the front tire down you are disconected from the drive shaft/ tcase so not an issue
