Colorado B.S. Thread

I'm really rather baffled as to how it happened, but I somehow sheared all 4 bolts holding the LBJ to the spindle. I figured for sure I broke the LBJ.

So as far as fixing it, I carry a few spare parts (ball joints, tie rods, CV) and luckily the new LBJ had a new set of bolts. Had to pull the CV all the way out to get the broken bolts out, popped the CV back togeather and zip tied the boot, and bolted it back togeater.

I then spent all day Sunday replacing the LBJ and CV just in case, and discovered that the threads in the Spindle are a little iffy, so now I have someone picking me up a junkyard spindle in Fort Collins, and I'll be working on replacing that this weekend.

Have yet to find out how good the lifetime warranty on that CV is, and if Discount considers this a "road hazzard" or not. Otherwise I'm out several hundred for this little event. Would much rather have put that in skids or a bumper....

Ugh that guy chopped his door panel to shit. Its not hard to get a better speaker to fit.

 

Holy crap! Why did he not just remove those grills and maintain the door panel? That guy is brilliant.

 

I've been on Tapatalk here today when I've been around....just got home with the intentions of checking out what you linked, pulled up Wallyworld and saw that before I knew that's what you linked. LOL

I'm going back to the Aussie guy's website and checking what they listed about what to look for in juicers and go from there. I looked at a Cuisinart & a Breville at Bed Bath & Beyond this weekend but haven't researched on them further.
