From what I've read the sports are triple-valved which makes them able to adapt to terrain changes while driving. They are " like a monotube without the vulnerability or the high price tag."

Can't find any posts on a Toyota forum but the Jeep guys seem to like them, don't know how seriously you take them but I would save the $50 and stick with the tried and true normal Nitrochargers.

Wheeler's can also mount the coils on the shocks for a little extra if you don't have or want to deal with a spring compressor, plus it cuts down on shipping a bit. I had them do that so I could just slap them on the truck when they showed up.

Plus those compressors you rent from the auto parts stores appear sketchy at best.

^^ Not always, I didn't have to trim for my tires. It just depends on the size you go with

Anyone with a super white on 610 with sliders and black wheels? I thought it was Ronnie's but I'm pretty sure it was an access cab and didn't have an hc bumper

ohh yeah i just started seeing it, this is my 2nd or 3rd time seeing it over the past few weeks. i know ive seen a super white dc around over at the auto body shop here on 610. the other day i saw a sick FJ too i forgot what color but it had a rear HC bumper with jerry cans, lifted and a bunch of stickers

while im posting, does anyone recommend any brake pads? i need to get them done, probably at tires plus here in stafford since i dont feel like having to deal with spreading the pistons, anyways they use wagner thermoquiet but im thinking about either getting the duralast gold from autozone or upgrading with EBC greenstuff but then i would have to wait for the pads to get in

Thanks, Wildcat. So I emailed HeadStrong and got put on the Light Racing UCA's group buy. That alone is going to save me about $70! I was wondering about the Brake Line Group Buy though...it doesn't say anything about being extended and that's what I need, right? Now I need to make a decision on where to buy the OME suspension kit...

i think they are extended for 3" lifts as the regular size, if you need longer just tell him. Ill ask Slimwood Shady, he has them.

Thanks, Wildcat! Appriciate the help. I've been looking at the SCS Stealth 6's and realized that I just missed out on a group buy. That's a bummer.....I'll have to start shopping around. I'd like to find places that give out military discounts so I can save some money.

This is correct. They are the standard size line, just stainless steel, and as WildcatTaco stated, tell him what you are doing, and he can make them as long as you need....they are worth every penny

    Nice! :jellydance:

Yep, when you're ready to buy, just message him your truck year and engine size, what color line you want, what size lift you will have, and your address. For a set of front and rear lines shipped it is $106 total. He will PM you his Paypal address.

I PM'ed about the extended brake lines now I'm just waiting around for an answer. Time to concentrate on the next item on my list....tires. Anyone have any suggestions on where to buy tires for the best price? I'm pretty set on getting the SCS Stealth 6's which are 17x8.5 so now I'm looking for tires that fit them. From what I've read, I'm not worried about 17s not fitting my truck with the OME lift...is this true? Anyway, I really like the look of Duratacs and am starting to become pretty set on them. Suggestions? Any advice would be great. Thanks for everything guys.

I have the km2 pizza cutters and while I love them, they are overkill for me. Next tire I get will most likely be a duratrac in 265/70/17. You can probably fit a 285 with the OME lift but may need to do some trimming/cutting if you have any rub issues.

You should get the S/T Maxx's John...They are pretty much the tread depth and style of Duratracs and they'll be coming in 255 in the fall.
