any suggestions for a wall mount for a 46" Samsung LCD? We are wanting to put the tv on the wall and run the cables through the inside of the wall but unsure of which one to buy. figured I'd ask here for anyone that can suggest a sturdy bracket that tilts (one that swings is optional).

 

When I was looking for a wall mount, the guy said, pick any of them you like, since most tv's are pretty light. Just mount to a stud.

 

If you are going to be looking at you flue pipe if there are multiple sections of pipe make sure the crimps are facing down.

 

Finished the drawers, mounted the cabinet hardware

 

Theres a lot of cheap ones out there but I was more than happy to spend the money for the swing out one from best buy. Not going to trust a $50 mount for a $500 TV

Very nice job. I'll be starting the inside of my house when I get the outside done. Worked on getting some stuff done today. Almost like I'm making no progress. Slow when you're working alone and have to fix a bunch of stuff before you can do the job you set out to do.

Here's something I built this past weekend. My dog likes to get into the garbage so I built this out of a large shipping pallet. I need to put a layer of bricks in the bottom so she can't knock it over, but it fits the garbage can and recycling bucket nicely.

Looks Great ! I do have question. I put led strips under my cabinets - they light up the counter tops. I see you put led strips under the edge of your counter tops. They look great but just wondering do they serve any practical purpose or are they just decorative. Thanks. Curious George.

ahh, no way. GF and mines anniversary is friday and my sisters wedding is on sunday. I'm afraid I won't get much done this weekend. I'm gonna try and finish the grill placement today though

Just decorative. The wife likes them. They make good low light illumination at night. I have LED spotlights on the ceiling and over the sink area. I also have a hanging light that's going to go in the middle of the kitchen when I get the island cart built. It would probably hang to low without something to block people from walking into it.

 

anyone do stucco before? Looks pretty labor intensive. I've been trying to research what I can do on the outside of my bbq island and aside from veneers, its stucco.
