    I know that stretch of Highway 50 very well in between Salida and Canyon City. That would definitely be a pucker factor moment if VSC took you into oncoming...or into the river!

    One of the VSC kill switch mods would be perfect for you.

    If you're not lifting or putting larger tires on , you're WAY too paranoid over this issue

    Molotov cocktail to the engine bay. It's the only way to be sure VSC can't get you ;)

    How about finding the feed to the ABS fuse, and running a cutout switch to the dash?

    Yep, do the Landphil method. With the ABS fuse switch method, the truck needs to be cycled off/on in the case you want your ABS/VSC back.

    The DIY instructions written by Landphil state that the mod is NOT for trucks with VSC! :confused:

    It works for VSC trucks too , I talked to him , and TW member Nut used the same set up to do his bypass

    I just don't think Landphil's truck has VSC so he couldn't verify that it would work with VSC equipped trucks when he made that post

    I'm not even concerned with it. I've had the truck for 2 months and experienced this 1 time. I don't yet feel the need to mod anything. I'll leave VSC up and running. When I'm back on a wet, tightly winding road, I may consider disabling the system throughout that portion of the trip.

    I mean, the switch is in the cab for a reason...
