Alright. Time for another question. Where is a good place for powder coating in the Bay Area? My Brute Force bumper is beginning to get some surface rust through the primer.

 

Do you really have to get powder coating? A can of spray is a lot easier.

In the end, it really depends on if your bumper is made for play or made for show.

If it's show, I'd suggest powder coating. If it's for play, I'd suggest epoxy based spray paint like rhino liner or bed liner.

 

Hmm, are you sure? The Konig Countersteers have more of a curve. Those have a flat section on the inside of the spoke design. They look more like the FN BFD design which replicate the concave aspect of the Rays Engineering TE37s.

 

You could see if Jerry from B.A.M.F. could do it for you.

Can of spray on bed liner works great for only a couple bucks. Unless you're never gonna use the thing, powder coating is a waste of time for something that's gonna get torn up on the trails, just my .02c

 

x2 I used plasti derp for the longest time. Anytime is scratched, i just resprayed it. I'll be switching to bedliner soon though. I have the cans, just need to find the time

It was out in Long Barn - really gorgeous area... next time I should bring my boat and go to Pinecrest Lake, but my friends have a cabin off the grid down some forestry trails in Long Barn. I can't wait to go back.

And the Suspension is 3" Mid Travel iShock kit, which worked really well. I really wish I got in action shots. We had 6 people in the truckbed while doing the slow bigger stuff.

 

I love the Long Barn (Pinecrest) area. My family has a cabin in Cold Springs (right up the road from Long Barn) and I try to take my 4runner on the random trails around there all the time.
